Pupil Safety
The school places great emphasis on the safety of its pupils and seeks parental cooperation for such initiatives.

Dropping Off/Picking Up Pupils - please do not drive into the school grounds for this unless you are on school ‘business’.

Absence from School - Pupils absent from school for any reason:
Parents please contact the school via the absence line - Tel. 569 9225 (7.30 am to 9.00 am) detailing the absence. 

Patrolled School Crossing - Cnr Bloomfield Tce/Knights Road school crossing and Knights Road crossing and lights are patrolled daily by senior pupils and staff 
8.30 am to 8.45 am and for 10 minutes immediately after school closes.

Bicycles - School policy advises that pupils under 9 years of age should not cycle to school.

Contacting the School
The School Secretary’s hours are from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon and 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm daily. This is the most suitable time to contact the school as Melinda will follow up on all calls, set appointments and answer any queries.

Open Door Policy
As always the school maintains its Open Door Policy. My aim is to be receptive to pupils, parents and staff - this has obvious limitations in respect of availability, family privacy and need. Parents/Guardians wishing to discuss or have clarified any matter, concern, complaint are encouraged and welcome to contact me through the school office, or if urgent, directly.
